Happy Semana Santa! If you liked this video please give a thumbs up and subscribe for more! I spent the long weekend in Samaná with my fiance and his family at the Puerto Bahia in Samaná, about 15 minutes from the closest beach. It was such a great 3 days and we crammed a lot into it! We went to Playa Bonita, Las Galeras, Playa Rincón, Las Terrenas, El Malecón in Samaná and more! We ate some amazing dominican food and enjoyed the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic! The water was so warm and clear. Personally, I absolutely LOVE Las Terrenas. Although… I recommend visiting outside of Semana Santa because as you can see, it gets CRAZY. Be super careful driving during this time too, because a lot of people are on the road and many are drinking.
Our resort was on the beautiful marina, and was about a 3 hour drive from Santiago de los Caballeros, where we live. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I definitely plan to go back to the North Coast ASAP! If you are in the Dominican Republic, take advantage and explore wherever and whenever you can.. there are many hidden gems and fun things to explore.
What did you do for Semana Santa?
